Undergraduate Admissions


The Computer Engineering Program is an interdisciplinary program administered by both Computer Science and Electrical & Computer Engineering Departments of the University of Virginia School of Engineering and Applied Science (SEAS). The curriculum has been carefully designed to assure that students obtain an excellent background in both Electrical Engineering and Computer Science with the ability to analyze, design and implement creative solutions to problems with computer hardware, software, systems and applications.

For Students applying for admission to the University of Virginia, please contact the undergraduate programs office. Undergraduate admissions are handled by the University of Virginia Admissions Office. Transfer Students, the Program has an application process for declaring a first or second major in Computer Engineering. The Engineering School has an office for undergraduate support with staff available to answer your questions.

Note: Computer Engineering does not have a Minor.
